Leaf Springs
New Guy here and I need to know if the 1976 F350 cc lwb 2wd came with leaf or coil springs in the front? I'm buying one and the owner said it has leafs in the front.

If its an F350 it should have leaf springs. I think just the F100 and F150 had coil spings

The camper special model, built at the factory for HEAVY old slide in campers had leaf spring front ends. I've worked on them before. Nice trucks.

RRranch,
Did crew cabs come as a camper special model? I don't now enough about them and having a hard time finding specs/info on them.

I'm really not sure if many did but mine was. It was the same year you are asking about. I can't remember the engine in it but I think it was a 400 M. It was a long time ago. That truck got stolen in Ca. I do remember it was definitly leaf springs because mine was the first one I ever replaced a set of them on. They were worn out when I got it. I just went through all that with my 94 also. All new leafs and shackles on it and it rides like a dream again with my camper.

Agreed and jsust an FYI...I believe the 150 4x4 SC's were NOT coils, and had leaves up front as well.
