Sagging front end

The front leafs on my 97 F-250 PSD are really sagging. There probably is'nt any more than 1" of travel to the bumpstops. Does anybody Know of a company that sells a Leveling kit that includes new heavier duty leafs instead of add a leafs?

Your truck has the TTB IFS front end, sprung by leafs. You had better look into this fully, just putting higher arched leafs or any add-a-leaf is going to mess with the angles of your TTB arms. You will need sufficient shims on the ball joint or drop brackets to bring the TTB geometry back in line.

I'd just order some Ford factory replacements and have it professionally aligned. Either that or a comprehensive lift designed for the leaf sprung TTB.

I lifted a coil sprung TTB and it was an alignment nightmare. Good Luck!

Sagging front end

I leveled out an earlier model F-250 with a add a leaf kit from Tuff Country, it came with the drop brackets and the adjustment cams to bring the front end geometry back in. It worked out reall well, but I dont recomend doing it yourself unless youve done lift kits or suspension work before, It took me the better part of a day and Ive done about 4 lifts before that, if you do install it yourself make sure you take it to an alignment shop afterwards so it can be aligned professionally. There are other lift kit manufacturers out there for your model year truck but I found tuff country to be the cheapest, not sure if its the easiest or the best, also make sure that you ask for the kit that is for the diesel, the springs rates are different to prevent the sag from the extra weight. I now have a '97 F250HD PSD that I'm thinking about leveling out before it starts to sag, its still at factory height so far.
