new tuner
Finally broke down and ordered the new tuner for my truck. Can't wait to get it and get the tunes downloaded.
side note, I have an Edge evolutiion tuner that I will be selling. If memory serves me this can be used in either a Ford or Chevy diesel truck. I will get the box out tonight and verify that.
I bought this tuner this past April.

I went with a DP Tuner, with a custom tune to eliminate the check engine light for the EGR.
40hp with an engine break
80hp economy
120hp performance

See how little you know William. Yes I can download new tunes any time I want, or wish to pay for them. It is set up to take up to 6 programmable tunes right now, will only have three in it.
You might want to research a little more. For the 7.3L that you have they are an actual chip that can be updated with new tunes as well.
DP has a deal going with SCT, they buy the tuner itself from them. I could have had the original SCT tunes in there if I wanted them, but I don't need that when I can get custom tunes in it.....

I plan on getting the F6 for this reason Rich. It will be nice not having to send the chip in everytime I change the configuration. 16 settings too!

That is pretty awesome! Have fun at RRE this weekend! I'm quite jealous. Would be a great place to get some things done.

Jody has a good setup if you want to spend the 600 dollars for that style tuner. =)
I can download tunes into my chip if I want to as well Rich, Your nothing special. =)
By Download, I was referring to programing. its not a programmer, but you know that.

I get that, but you made it sound like I got what was on there and that was it.
I'm excited, it should be at the house. Tiff hasn't said anything about it so she prolly hid it on me......

LOL. The tuner is awesome.
No the tires are good. Of course they only have 10K miles on them.
How is your shoulder, hopefully all healed up and no complications this summer.
Looking forward to the next GTG, it'll be great to catch up with everyone again.
