rear end help
posting this for my roomate.he has a 2003 f250 7.3l 2wd work truck.was just curious as to what rear end was put into this truck so we can order up a posi for it.did these trucks only come with one rear end or multiple? thanks in advance

Look on the door sicker of the truck. The one that tells the gvwr, tire sizes and psi. There will be a axle code. I found this in the tech folder at the top of the super duty forum. Lots of other info too.

If you go here and download an owners manual it will tell you in the specifications that it is a 10.5 inch.

I am just working on my rear and it is Dana 80.
The parts for Dana go about double what parts for other brands.
For parts the best I found is Ring & Pinion, Transmission and Transfer Case Parts - Drivetrain.com
