What is the cheapest way to get injectors replaced on 04 F-350 Diesal? Can they be cleaned and go a while that way. Starts rough, but once it's warmed up no problems.

Do you want to clean them, or replace them?
There is no point in removing them to try and clean them. But there are things you can try before removing them. What you are describing sounds like typical stiction. Ford has newer versions of the PCM strategy that can help by heating the injectors via induction. You also want to make sure you have good fresh oil, and that it is the correct oil which would be CJ-4 rated currently. Some have had excellent improvement by changing to a synthetic 5W/40 CJ-4 oil. Running a fuel additive religiously, like Diesel Kleen can have a minor affect. And then there is Hot Shot Secret oil additive that the maker claims will clean your injectors. Others say it is snake oil, but they do have a money back guarantee. Lastly, make sure you have nice fresh fuel filters and don't run them more than 10k miles. Oh, and be absolutely sure you use nothing but OEM fuel and oil filters in that 6.0.
"Ford has newer versions of the PCM strategy that can help by heating the injectors via induction." Can you explain this in more lamens terms? Is it a kit to buy and apply?
I've been getting the synthetic mix at jiffy lube. Are you recommending full synthetic?
How do you know your getting OEM fuel? I have been putting sea foam in the oil and gas each time I fill. I want to clean them first and go as long as I can. Replacing looks like a lot of money.
Thanks for replying to my post. Appreciate it!

It has to be done by a dealer. Basically it uses electrical current to energize the coil in each injector, thereby warming them up. It won't be free, but it usually costs about $100 or so to have them update the flash.

In my opinion, this is a big concern. The quick oil places are not to be trusted with the 6.0. I can almost guarantee they are not using Motorcraft oil filters, and even the oil they use is suspect. If you cannot change the oil yourself (recommended) your best bet is to have the dealer do it. But it's pretty easy to do on these trucks. My own truck starts and runs better using full synthetic 5W/40. Not so much because it is synthetic, but because it is thinner when starting the engine cold.

I meant OEM fuel filters. Those would be Motorcraft, or Racor who actually makes them, or from an International dealer. Will-fit aftermarket filters do not meet the manufacturers specifications and have been shown to cause problems. This applies to both fuel filters and oil filters. These engines require very very clean oil and fuel.
I don't know much about the Seafoam. Apparently it isn't helping your issue.
