Dash pad dye?

Is there a way to dye a dash pad to get it looking new again?

If so has any one used it and how well does it hold up?

Dash pad dye?

Don't know about using a dye, but I've always used vinyl paint that you can have mixed at automotive paint suppiers(such as Dupont). Just make sure you clean & prep the dash pad so you'll have good adheasion to the vinyl. Those mini airless spray guns do a excellent job of applying it. I did the dash on my Ranger 2 years ago & it still looks good.

i always just sanded and used vinyl paint, but i guess krylon just came out with krylon fusion designed to bond to plastics, im gonna have to try it
