I thought it would be cool to show the progress of our vehicles from since we first bought them, to now after all the modifications and personal touches. Anybody else have pics from day 1 and a recent pic to share? This would even work for previous vehicles owned.
My contribution:
Day 1
And yesterday, still not a Ford unfortunately.
Another pic right before the many stages of the transformation to show how rough it was
Well I might not have any pics but I'll look--- my stock explorer now has a 6" lift spring over axle swap, 4:56 gears 33 inch mud terrains, winch and winch mount bumper, it was an auto, but now is a manual, second transfer case, home made rear bumper. It wheels pretty good. (I hope).
It had an interior until about 3 weeks ago... Should have one again tonight.
The only difference on Big Red is the tires, winch bumper, bucket seats, and rebuilt engine, shocks and new front lift springs. Sorry no pics of when i first bought it 6 yrs ago.
"Jr." 1988 Bronco II. Started off as a 2wd. Now it is 4wd, 6" lift, 4.11 gears and detroit Lockers front and rear, dana 35 front axle from a Ford Explorer with dana 44 outers, rear full width 31 spline 9" rear, stock 2.9 with world heads, c-5 built to c-4 specs, T&M doubler, 1354M t-case, custom rear bumper and tire carrier, and custom front grill gaurd and receiver for multi mount winch.
mine mostly looks the same as it did when I bought it, very few changes that you can see visually.
So basically imagine mine looking the same as when I bought it except for more scratches, worn tires, dirtier, oh.. stirrups, and rear factory fender flairs reinstalled, spare tire carrier back on, with the spare tire mounted, cb antenna mounted......yep that's about it..
guess I could post up pics of my old XJ, it went through some changes..used to be a video of the changes, can't find it now.
Magical? It didn't work-- somone messed with your Ju JU!
Differemt kind o magic. The kind that keeps a racer racing, ur a cowboy rodeo'in Ya know the stuff thet keeps ya goin back after the wall slams ya at 180 ur a bronk stomps ur guts out. Thet stuff!
Sadly I didn't take any pictures of my truck when I bought it, I haven't done too much since I bought it, just a pair of running boards. I guess I ought to get around to taking a couple pictures of it.
