Is anyone else having issues with RBP rims corroding and pitting?

Is there anyone else having issues with their chrome RBP rims corroding and pitting? I saved up my deployment money from my last trip to Iraq and bought what I thought was a great set of high dollar rims. I received these in September of 2009 and have only put about 3,000 miles on them as was deployed again for a short trip back to Iraq. I live in Tennessee so constant salt on the roads is not really an issue. I have only washed my wheels at the local carwash using soap with the brush and then rinse cycle. One rim is not too bad but the other 3 look like the front bumper on a 55 Chevy (because Fords don’t rust right?). The rest of my factory Ford chrome looks great even the chrome steps right behind the tires so I am scratching my head. I am guessing that the problem is the chrome is just too thin. So if you have chrome RPB rims go clean them off and let me know if it’s just me and my rims that were made on Friday at 5 o’clock. I feel like I paid top dollar for cheep crap.

You know there is as specific forum for this! Should be placed under "misc" in the wheels section as you don't need to post in multiple (6) forums for the same issue..........https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum10/

I called them and they told me that I would have to put my truck on blocks, take the tires and bands off the wheels and ship them to the factor for up to 6 weeks while they analyze and test the chrome. I had also sent them pictures of the factory chrome running boards and bumpers that were exposed to the same conditions as the rims.
