Well I just came in from tearing the front off the Taurus. Just to change the rad. Had to run into town and get a special tool to remove the tranny lines. SShesh!. Get home the tool they sold me does not fit.
Lucky a retired mechanic near here was home and he had the right tool and lent it to me. What a pain those lines are. They do not make them accessible.
Anyways got the new rad in and the lines connected. Decided to finsih reassembling the car tomorrow.
Man give the old cars where it took an hour to change and be done. With all the right tools this is now a 5 hour job.
now that i'm back around these parts i have been quite busy.
started a new job, farm, vehicles, and friends, i'm lucky if i can on the computer once or twice a week; then the time i have on it is pretty much consumed b e-mail and facebook... damn facebook
