I would much refer a guy go commando than shove his family jewels into less fabric than I use in my bra!! I do however find boxers to be very sexy!!

As far as I know Ford started using electronic speedos starting in the '87 model year. My manager at work has an '86 F250 with mechanical speedo, and an '88 with an electronic speedo. So I'm guessing '87 is when the changeover was made.
