Fuel line routing

On a 49 f-1 does the fuel line come from the shut off valve to the top of the frame,foward to the batt. box supports,under top of frame to crossmember over to flex hose? The svc. manual doesnt show placement.Thanks for any help

It runs inside the frame channel, through a little corner of a gusset, then up the firewall; at the top of the run it changes to flex. Is this a 6-cyl? That's V8 routing.
