steering/handling front end
I'm slowly working through this 76 f100
truck has front disc, 2wd.
I'm aiming for perfection and I've already got the truck in a million pieces....
what would you guys suggest to make the steering/handling more modern?
right now it isn't too bad, going down the road it bounced a little and the rotors were dragging slightly. Small amount of steering wander.
King pins appear to be in good shape, wheel bearings too, so I'll probably just repack them.
rotors are getting replaced as the piston was froze in place pretty bad, was going to replace the tie rod, drag link, and center link. was considering a power steering dampner and sway bar.
any thoughts, suggestions, comments?
