arps without the lube???
installed the arp head studs but didnt use the supplied lube... am i loosing clamping force by not using it??? just wondering.....ohh and i didnt use it because i forgot

The correct torque value was calculated using the lubricant supplied. The odds are your studs are not properly torqued and uniformity wise, who knows where they might be. The cut of the threads in the block vrs. the studs vrs. the friction factor are probably all over the place. If you haven't fired the engine up yet, I don't see why you couldn't untorqe them, use the lube and retorque. JMHO. The studs are reuseable, the gaskets aren't. But they should still be intact if the engine wasn't started.

well already put 2K miles on the engine with the studs havent had any problems yet and hope i dont i dont wana have to pull the engine out again
....i wonder if anyone out there has had problems because of not using the lube
