Hi Guys: I am sure ND Bill can answer these questions. In fact I think they have been asked in the past but when I look I can't seem to find them. We have an 1964 F100 and would like know what cars, trucks and years the steering wheel can be found on so we can scour the recycling yards and find a good one. 2nd question does Ford still sell the brass float for the gas sender. If so what is the part Number. Thanks for all the help you fellas have given us on this truck in the past. We hope to have it on the road before long. Thanks again Joe in Ontario
LMC Trucks out of Lenexa, Kansas has the floats and just about any other part you may need for your truck (even the steering wheel). Don't know where you are located, but they ship nation wide and beyond. They seem to have alot of the more hard to find parts, and have agreat catalog you can either view online or order a hard copy through the mail. Search LMC Trucks on the internet and they will pop up.
1971's (1971/77's are the same) have a smaller two spoke steering wheel and use a vinyl horn pad, not a horn button or horn ring.
COAZ9202B .. Fuel Tank Float / Available from Ford.
Fits ALL: 1957/79 Passenger Cars, Trucks, Bronco's and Econolines.
MSRP: $13.17 // FTE Ford Dealer Parts Dept sponsor PARTSGUYED.COM price: $9.48.

btw: I'd use LMC as a last resort only, the repro parts they sell (not reproduce, cuz they don't reproduce much of anything) are bottom of the barrel made in China parts.
ALL the repro parts sellers sell not only to the general public, but to other repro parts sellers as well. If anyone has more 'hard to find' parts, it certainly isn't LMC, it's Dennis Carpenter.
LMC is a "middleman" operation, uses the J. Paul Getty method of making money. When you order something, they use your money to buy the parts elsewhere, then ship them to you.

The repo steering wheels are total junk, the horn rings do not line up on them properly. I saw one at a show that a guy had on his truck. He was very upset with it. You are better off keeping the one you got or finding a good used one and getting a repair kit from Eastwood and repairing it.
Thanks for all the advice re steering wheel. I sure appreciate it. By the way ND I purchased the float from a Ford dealer. I am glad you gave me the part number. Joe
