ok... i didnt give the go ahead yet, he had to get prices...

350+tax.... the shop gave me a huge break on the price since they are family friends..

and the work WILL be done right..

and thats all bearings and seals..

Make you wonder how much the diff had been abused before you bought it, doesn't it....... Didn't this come out of a Gen1 Lightning??????

yeah, that had a built motor with a supercharger.... lol...

welp got it back... it cost 391 dollars after taxes...

Blah blah, I did the D-44 in my CJ-5, it's not really all that hard to do believe it or not, upgrade the axles and bearings or just replace the whole axle. I had to do my ring and pinion, come off the clutch hard, do a burnout with a set of 33-12.50 BFG mud grips, a good small block AMC, all I herd was pow after popping a wheelie, knocked all the way to work, then all the way home. LMAO
