Sorry I didnt post everything needed on my last post on this subject. I have a 2000 ranger, 4wd, extend cab, 4.0 , auto. As I said in my last post I got a cel and took it to my service station to see what the code was. Got P1151, the mechanic reset the code and 2 days later it came back on again. Like I said before it drives fine and the only thing that indicated something was wrong was the mileage dropped 2 to 3 miles per gallon. I have in the past 6 months replaced the tps, iac, cleaned the maf, changed the fuel filter, and cleaned the throttle plate. Now this morning I started the truck to go to the store and the cel went out. I drive this truck to work every day and round trip is 110 miles so I check the mileage every day. One thing I should add is last fall when I changed the fuel filter I was getting a running lean cel. After changing the fuel filter starting after warm requires me to turn key on and wait a few seconds to start it. If I try to start it right away it just cranks for a while before starting.
