Since its that time of the year and alot of new people getting RV's this year and a bunch of you heading down to RRE and to your other destination vacation spots I thought I would post this here so you can keep you and your families safe. Talking to Spdmopo Keith recently about his problem with his refer inspired me to post this up. Certain years of Dometic and Norcold rv refers have been recalled because of fires. Thanks for the reminder. Mine was supposed to have been already done when I bought the camper 2 years ago. I used mine on vacation this past week and the gas burner still won't stay lit for very long. I'm going to call the dealer tomorrow and have them check and maybe re-do it.
P.S. when I put my serial# in your link it came up as still affected.

Thanks Mike.. This has been ongoing for many years. And Still, There are folks that know nothing about it. Thanks for posting it up. They just added more years to the recall.
Had mine done two years ago. All they did was install some simple metal shields. So it still is a problem and the shields were an attempt to satisfy, Not Cure.
PS.. Mine also still shows affected even though it was done.
Here is what it states encase some folks haven't seen it.
Thanks for posting this up brother.Fortunately the recall has already been done on our TT,it's a heat shield they put on the back of the fridge unit....Thanks again...
Hey Bill, not sure why it didn't come up unless the dealer didn't send in something to Dometic saying yours was fixed under recall. You might want to check, Phil and the guys say its a shield they install, sorry excuse for a fix IMO. Like I said, glad people are checking this thread, I know it doesn't pertain to our trucks but I'm glad Jim and the higher ups let it ride for all to see. I also posted it down in the RV section.
