I have a problem that I never thought I'd need help with. My front right turn signal bulb on my F350 is out. How is the best way to get to that? Looks like I have to come close to pulling the motor - I hope I'm wrong.
Hey Glenn!
Yup, two bolts on the corner markers just above the front bumper cover. You can see them in between the gaps between the bumper and the marker lights.
Oh, and stroke the screwdriver or socket against a magnet a dozen or so times to magnetize it. This will reduce the chance of dropping it into the bumper. Would seem as though it would fall to the ground, but such is never the case.
Ok so after much procrastination, I've got the bulb replaced. Two more questions:
1.) The replacement bulbs (yes it came 2 to a pack) I got were double filament bulbs - is this correct? It went in ok and the old one was so shot I couldn't tell what it had.
2.) I noticed a good deal of water in the bottom of the housing - is this usual? I noticed some in the other side as well.
