Bead Lock Rims

True bead lock rims are not DOT approved for use on the roads.

The are really only needed if you plan to air your tires down to a very low psi when offroading.

Hope this helps.

Bead Lock Rims

Hi-
True they're not necessary unless you air down under 20 psi and then proceed to crawl up high traction obstacles (like rocks). And they're not street legal either, has to do with the clamping action on the bead with the bolts and all. I'm not saying it's a good law, i'm just saying.
What do you think of the many simulated beadlock rims?
