hey intersted in getting some bead lock rims. i have a 1999 f-250 with a 4 inch lift and i want to 16X8 rims with some 35 12.50's. is there any diffrence in the bead lock rims and regular ones? are they ok to use on the highway at speeds of 80 and 90 mph? anything i need to know about them?
Hi-
True they're not necessary unless you air down under 20 psi and then proceed to crawl up high traction obstacles (like rocks). And they're not street legal either, has to do with the clamping action on the bead with the bolts and all. I'm not saying it's a good law, i'm just saying.
What do you think of the many simulated beadlock rims?
