Was going to buy a used set of Goodyear mtr tires 35x12.50/15 today... They still had plenty of good tread about a 1/2"..no punctures..a little rock rash.
Problem..The bead on three of the tires had some damage.. The guy said they were mounted on allied bead locks and they were damaged by the tire shop removing them. Are these tires junk now or are they ok?
I wish I would have taken a picture of them.. Some of the rubber was broken on bead but I don't know if this is cosmetic or a serious problem. I don't plan on running beadlocks..just regular 15x8 steel rims
I was going to pay $300 for the set. Is this a waste of cash? I need a good set of tires for daily driver. Thanks
I wouldnt pay any money until you personally take them to a tire shop and have them look at them and see if they can still be mounted. That bead has to fairly smooth otherwise it might not seal right.
