Clutch in!
Went with the Valair kevlar/ceramic. Hard to tell about the extra noise-down pipe is resting on the firewall
But I guess thats whats to expect when you don't do it yourself. Neal (and anyone else w/a valair) how much free travel do you have on the clutch pedal when going down before disengagement? Thanks
It felt like no clutch till you got to the bottom, then you had to stand on the damn thing.
He's got a heavy duty PP with his though.
Far as I know from talking to Travis, his is about the same as mine also.
Mine dissengages about 3/4 of the way, and the friction point on the way up starts around 1/2 way.
Kinda amazing how that much travel is only 3 or 4 mm on the pressure plate.
You'll like the kev/ceramic. Travis will even tell you that he misses his.
It's a great all around clutch I think. When it really gets broke in after 1000 miles or more, its smooth, but has good bite still.
