Very nice looking truck you have. Before long you will have more, lol.
One thing you might want to do in the future is get some extra tubing and make a longer fuel line, that way you don't have so much rubber fuel line laying around. Makes the truck a little safer.
Nice truck! I'm in a similar boat. Bought mine last year from the original owner's nephew and proceeded throwing money at it every weekend. It sat for a long time so had a lot of dried up seals, needed brakes, etc. It skipped time on me about a month ago (I'm sure it has the nylon teeth on the timing gears that had dried out significantly over the years). So, it's been sitting in my driveway for the last month waiting for me to swap in the 460 sitting on the garage floor.
You'll really like it once you get it lifted up a bit. I think clean dents with 2-4" of lift give or take are the best looking trucks on the road.
A few pictures:
FYI there is no D60 in the front and no limited slip. And I didn't pay $4500
About what it looked like when I got it home.
After some new springs
Nice truck!! That two tone color combo is one of my favorites. Honestly, I think the height of your truck is about perfect, for me anyways. Is that a lift kit, or is that something you pieced together yourself?
Swapping in that 460 will be the best thing you will ever do to that truck. I am not knocking the Modified family of engines, but man, when you can find a good running 460 for a decent price it just doesn't make sense not to do the swap!!

Thanks for the compliment and the tip on the fuel line. I will check into that.
I know what you mean on having more. This is the 6th 78-79 truck I have had in the last 5 years. All the others were 1/2 tons and one Bronco. I told myself that once I found a clean, straight 100% original regular cab 3/4 ton that I would not buy any more. Well, that won't last long. I don't plan on ever selling this one but I am already looking for another one to rob parts off of. I would love to swap out the NP203 for a 205. The previous owner converted the 203 to part time with the MileMarker conversion kit, but I would much rather have the gear driven 205.
