Single Guage Pod

I have a 2002 F150 and I bought a single guage pod for the a-pilliar for a transmission temp guage and I was looking at it last night and didnt know the best place to put it. Didnt know if anyone on here has one and were they installed it to be out of the way but easy to see. Looks like it would fit better up close to the grab handle but also might be out of harms way closer to the dash but it doesnt seem to fit the contour of the a pilliar real well down there any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a 2 gage panel mounted in the center of the dash down at the hump out of the way of everything along with the trailer brake controller.
The gages are 'large' white faced AUTO METERS that can be seen with just a glance both day, and at nite when the dash lights are on, lighting them internally..
They are trans temp and oil pressure electric types.
Wires thru the fire wall is easier than a hard line to mechanical gages.
Good luck.
