Noise from dash/console area . . .
Hi all,
I recently noticed a funny noise coming from what appears to be the underside of the front end of the center console, close to where it meets the dash. I can liken the sound to that of the CD changer as it changes CDs. When I accelerate moderately, or when I let off the gas this noise is heard. Almost like a CD jewel case standing on end, flopping back and forth from the vehicle's momentum changes. I have checked the glove box and the console storage, and canot find anything that could be making this noise. Is there some sort of electronic piece that may be going bad that monitors acceleration or throttle position or something located under the dash that could be doing this ?
