Shift selector problem

Can any one explain how to adjust the shift selector on my 2000 f250 park is almost non existant, rev is near neutral drive is by low d 2. how and which way do i adjust it? thanks barry

It is a separate part from the gauge cluster. Pull the cluster and it will snap out of the bottom of the cluster. If you do that you should be able to pin point the problem.

Take off the panel under the steering column, where your fuses are, you should find a small thumb wheel, white or black, cant remember color, anyways turn this until things line up. Thats how it is on my 99.
