Just find a set of wheels you like - and will fit your truck , and have them powdercoated black. I am sure you can find a place that is in the powdercoating business around your area. Another idea is black chrome-ing the wheels instead of solid black....
Thinking about getting the same for my rig. Went to 4wheelsparts and they quoted me $60/ea. and a month to order because they are considered custom due to the lug configuration.
If you choose the powdercoat idea... I did that on my Nission 300zx aluminums and wished that I had done it to NEW rims
If you do this use brand new rims or you need to spend much time and agrivation getting the used rims cleaned and outgassed
aluminum is very porous and absorbs oils and other crap. When they powdercoat, a fairly thick layer of fine powder plastic is elecrostaticlly applied to the metal, then into an oven to melt the powder to the metal. As the "dirty" rims heat up they "outgas" and the little bit of preasure blows pin holes in the coating. Basically not visually apperant.
Later when water and crap gets into these pinholes then the wheel corrodes under the coating....
I learned all these things at 138mph when a front wheel disintgrated on a long strech of I10
No fun , much damage, and would be a castrophy at 70 in the mountains with big superduty
Ya , if you send wheels in to get powdercoated , a good shop will pressure wash/soak the wheels before they coat them to insure that all grease/grime is cleaned off the surface...
