Hard Starting Issues? Ideas appreciated!
Just got done replacing my egr cooler and oil cooler with a bullet proof upgrade. No more white smoke thank god. Thought it was a head gasket for a while. I have a banks computer on my truck
2007 F-350. 6.0l King Ranch
Before i did this repair I had no issues with starting. Now it takes a good 15-30 seconds before it starts and it almost has what sounds like a backfire before it even starts. Runs great after it starts.
The banks computer is saying cam sensor and mass flow sensor. Anyone have any idea why these would go bad now when they were working fine before the egr cooler repairs.
On the first start after the repair the truck did burn off a lot of coolant.
I am also getting a water in fuel HFCM warning. I did drain it and only saw a small amount of water. How long should i let it drain? I am still getting that warning.
Does the fuel system have to be primed after this repair?
I am getting a code p2269 and p2614.
Any thoughts welcome!
Thanks in advance!

how long have you driven it sence you did the repairs. it can take 100 miles to get all the air out of both systems so that it will start right.
cam codes can be self induced by the way your are cranking the engine. clear the codes and retest it.
so far as the wif lamp. you can remive the wif manifold and attempt to clean the sensor. also you can try to sprat the inside of the wif drain with parts cleaner to get the debris off the sensor.
