Well my truck is leaking fuel under the hood. It's not the fuel filter or the injectors/pump. Where ever it's comin from it's hitting the fan/rad area and it's all over the motor. It seems to be coming from behind and to the left of the vac pump (I think that's the vac pump anyways, it's the one below the alt and runs off it). It seems to be coming out of this little weep hole. I just don't know what it's call. Any help?
thats your lift pump (fuel pump) Mike.they generally cost under $50 and it needs to be replaced (it located under the alternator,on the passenger side, and is held to the block via two bolts.)

Is it easy to replace? I don't even know what the part looks like lol yea so it's like a water pump, liquid is coming out of the weep whole telling you need to replace it.
yes, that is your vacuum pump thats being belt driven by your alternator. and x2 on your lift pump. its easy to replace. better to replace it now before it starts dumping fuel into your oil pan.
This fuel pump must be installed only at the low position of actuator cam.
If the pump is installed at any other position than low cam, the pump will be ruined, the engine will stall and damage may result.
Incorrect installation will loosen the pivot pin and allows the pin and lever to come out of the pump and drop into the oil pan. This can occur immediately or after several hundred miles. This type of failure is not covered by warranty.
To ensure that the cam is at low position, it is necessary to use a mirror and a remote starter switch. Observe the cam through the mounting port and bump the engine around until a one (1) inch wide machine surface is observed. This is low position of the cam. Now complete normal fuel pump installation.
Well the truck is still in pieces.. The medal line fitting stripped (the one running from the pump up to the fuel filter). Hope Ford still carry's the line...
