I AM FIXING TO DO MY FIRST OIL CHANGE ON MY 2010 FORD F-150(FX2). I AM TO USE 5W20 SYNTHETIC . WILL THE SYNTHETIC BLEND BY MOTORCRAFT BE OK TO USE , OR SHOULD I USE A FULL SYNTHETHIC
PLEASE STOP YELLING (it makes it difficult to read your post).
I suggest you read
1. through the hundreds of posts re: oil requirements (OCI, filters, UOA, etc.). The search feature can save you a lot of typing and provide you with instant access to multiple facts, opinions, and recommendations.
2. your owner's manual
Because of the awkward angle, I use the kind of wrench that slips over the end of the filter that u use a 3/8 ratchet or breaker bar to break loose. It has worked well for me on my F150 and the wife's Taurus.

It IS an awkward angle for sure! Maybe the lower rad hose didn't need to be in the way, or maybe they could've angled the filter mount just a bit more toward the pass side?
Make sure you have a good oil filter wrench on hand, their good and tight from the factory. You'll never it it off by hand
No kidding. Just past finger tight my a$$. They torque those on like crazy. I all but destroyed the one on my wife's Taurus X trying to get it off. It was at that point that I remembered why I usually pay for the firstoil change...let some poor SOB at the dealership get it off for me.
