Does anyone know where I could find an original 1988 Bronco radio? I'm about to buy one, but it doesn't have a radio. Is there anywhere online I can get one, or does someone on here have one they would be willing to sell me? Thanks!
I know you might want to keep it original, but i say go with a DVD MP3 from any good brand, you won't regret it. In one DVD disk worh of MP3s, you could have as many as 500+ of your favorite songs, and the sound quality is rather good, you'll most probably get a remote (a must in our very wide trucks) and they also aren't very expensive (you could even pay more for one with a hide-away screen, so you could even watch DVD movies in you truck).
Junk yard, but I second the suggestion to get a modern one instead. I got a Sony that has a USB port on the front I can plug in a thumb drive and play MP3s off of. It's really nice to have a whole stack of CDs in one little stick that I can scroll through by album artist and title.
Anyone happen to have one for a '92? I'd love to get one to have for the sake of originality. The original one that came in it got trashed a few years ago when it quite working. It was just the basic AM/FM Cassette unit. Base model.
I've looked at Ebay a few times with no such luck. Salvage yards are nearly impossible to locate a Bronco in. From the yards I've called in my area, I've found 3 total. I haven't been there to look at any yet but I doubt any of them would have the factory units in them either. I might get lucky though. Then I'd only have to hope I didn't get bent over hard for it.

Was the Bronco radio different than what was in the f-series?
The 90 I just bought had the stock radio sitting in the back. I won't be using it so you are welcome to it. I am not sure if is operational. Pay for shipping and it is yours.
I'm not certain but I think there may have been a different radio between the 90 and 92 models. I know the body style changed but I'm not sure about the interior components.
