Just picked up a nice 88 bronco. 351, C6, 112,000 miles, only minor surface rust issues only on drivers side and lead edge of hood. It has 3.55 gears and limited slip diffs front and rear. Factory optioned 31/10.50/15 tires. Inside looks brand new! Top was never off before I got it! Truck has been very well taken care of, there is nothing wrong with it other than just maintenance stuff from sitting a lot. It has only been driven 12k miles in the last 8 years.
I picked it up from my inlaws neighbor for $750!
I have plans to lift it a little and go with some 33s or 35s
Welcome to FTE and the Big Bronco Forum. Sounds like you got a steal. Check out the Red Link in my signature for more Bronco-specific information.
Re-gear the axles if you go with larger tires. Unless you have the the optional factory 4.11 gears in the axles, 32's are about as big as I'd suggest getting with the tires. 4.11's will work well with the 33's but if you plan on 35's definitely have a look at 4.56's.
