WONT START
Are we to understand that an attempt was made to remove the battery from a truck while the engine was running? And now said truck won't start? The disconnect was not only dangerous but the sudden loss of battery voltage most likely fried the voltage regulator in the alternator. There is no telling what the arcing and inrush current adversely affected. If the battery that was installed (with the engine running) was damaged or had a dead cell the short created by connecting it to an alternator pumping hundreds of amperes at 12 VDC could well have taken out the alternator and any other component that was connected to it... which basically includes the truck's entire electrical system.
