I need help from Bill (NumberDummy)
I have a 1991 Grumman Olson which is really a 1991 Ford F590F SuperDuty 7.3 Diesel, E40D, with an aluminum box on it. Or a 1991 F59 Series, 10 lug rims with duallys. Or a 1991 Incomplete Chassis, just waiting for a Motorhome to sit on it. Except those were usually F53 series, I think. As you can already see my confusion at the parts store. My Steering box input seal is leaking bad now. I ordered 3 of them and none of them are the right size so far. Always sending me the wrong size seal (too small). My input shaft is 1.10 on the shaft and around 1.60 where it seats to the metal, I could be off a bit. Its a Bendix box. I can't seem to locate this seal,snap ring and cover plate. I hate it, everyone thinks I am stupid, dumb, thinking I don't know what I own or drive and brush me off to the next store full of idiots. I got a feeling you know exactly what i am talking about and exactly what vehicle i have. So feel free to help me with what seal i need. Thanks
