New seat cover & custom horn button

Today I installed a new saddle blanket seat cover and finished up my custom lightening bolt and gear horn ring button. The horn button is the stock Ford Falcon button that I painted black, made a custom chrome decal then clear coated over.

A horn ring is not a horn button. The horn button only covers the center of the steering wheel.

Same horn ring: 1960/63 Falcon/Comet / 1961/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/70 F100/250 2WD/4WD & F350.

There were different plastic inserts originally. 1968: The inserts were no longer used, the horn ring (and button) had the Ford oval made as part of it and were painted flat argent to reduce glare.

There is NO chrome under the argent paint.

How difficult was the seat cover install? Did you have to remove the seat. Was it those hog ring / clips?
Did the blanket cover have any padding?
I'm need a new seat cover or a reupholstery real bad.
Those springs are gettin on my last nerve, and we all know where that is.
