It may all be academic now. He decided to look into selling it and buying another trailer in Michigan, one that will be insulated for Michigan winters. He already has someone who wants it as-is.

At least it all worked out.
I had an interesting thing happen to me yesterday. I'm selling my 86 F150, a guy stopped by and wondered if he could rent my truck for a few days. His GF's truck broke and they needed another car until it's done getting fixed. So I'm charging him $50 for a few days of using my truck and he left his new laptop here for collateral. He just can't drive it at night, will fix that issue when I get it back. He might even buy it so they have a backup vehicle.
