diesel mechanic

hey guys,

i was wondering if anyone knows a decent diesel mechanic preferably on site but i will tow my truck if necessary

im looking for someone who knows the 7.3 idi pretty well, every other mechanic i have talked to doesn't know them well and is having trouble identifying the problem or wants to take the entire motor apart to figure it out

so if anyone knows of a decent diesel mechanic in the nj area (preferably central) i would greatly appreciate it. I have no problem paying them as long as they arent asking more than the 6k or other ridiculous quotes i have recieved from some "shady" mechanics who cant even tell me whats wrong or what they are going to do for that money

and by central i mean red bank, sandy hook, asbury park area

if it is the 88 in your profile, there really is not much to those engines.

Thank you Steve, sorry gang have been a little busy, alway's a pleasure to give a helping hand to a fellow fte member, like Tom said, what is the problem with the truck? you can drop me a pm,and i can give you my number to contact me, sounds like you have motor issues,if your getting quotes of 6 grand.
