I'm looking into a 1993 Ford Explorer.
it's in decent condition, the guy says it runs great, it's got over 200K on it, but other than a torn up front drivers leather seat, the transmission stops working after it gets warm, what module could cause that?
I'd like to know before I get it.......to be sure I don't get ripped off.
1993 uses an A4LD, was not the best transmission in original configuration. Your present condition (stops working when warm) is contributed to line pressure loss, as the fluid warms it becomes thinner and the seals and pistons leak.

The fix is to tear down and apply all mods.
Oh.......I'm not sure how well that will be for my wife lol, she's the one I have to run this stuff by.
