EFI cam timing
Seeing that th timing case cover is weeping a bit of antifreeze and requires a gasket set I got my hands on a double roller chain set with both the 0 and 4 deg keyways. (Engine has 170+ km's)
Here's the big question, If i set the timing back to Interceptor specs(4 deg advance right?) will I possibly run into valve/ piston clearance issues or anything else? I am concerned this may be a little much for the computer but I'll try it if there is no risk of physical harm to the engine itself.
I am running Propane/gas on this engine(Dual Fuel) so if the computer is unhappy it should still run on propane.
We have a Dyno here in town, hopefully it will fit a P/U (Big rig Dyno) and if it's reasonable I will run it before and after on the Dyno and all the specs. Timing etc. Please realise this may take awhile as my schedule up in the air
Will the metal clash is the big question? Any thoughts?
