Alright, so it may be best to take it back to my dealer (or someone else) and get both replaced one final time? Or maybe just the oil cooler because the EGR was replaced about a week ago?
Wyatt if I were you I'd be having a little talk with Jones West Ford. I've seen a Technical Service Bulletin (issued by Ford) posted by one of the techs on this site that states oil cooler replacement is a part of that procedure. Hopefully someone has that TSB # so you can have a little ammo on your side when you speak to them.
Now I see why a lot of people around here have been complaining about how bad Jones West is, maybe this is the reason. My Dad just called me saying the check engine light just came on (he's using it this week), and I don't know what else I can do on my own. Calling them seems like a good idea

Would it be a bad idea to drive it back to the dealership one last time? (approx. 60-70 miles) Or get it towed in one more time if I need to have it taken in...Hope I don't have to do that one again.
So all I need to do is find this number, and talk to my Ford dealer and see if they put one of these in? Since they've ""fixed"" this problem 4+ times, maybe they'll do it for free....
Well, it looks like the issue was a turbo actuator causing the last string of problems. Everything is working A-OK now. No more engine lights, no more excessive amounts of black smoke. I've been doing some towing with it, and its doing just fine. It still puts out a little bit of brown smoke here and there, but it's nothing at all like what it was doing. $7,000 later I'm back truckin'
