Question Oil Presure?

I was wondering what presure is the norm on the 300-6. In my 82 it runs at about 40psi tops, and idles at around 19-22psi. Just wondering if any of you guys have guages that you can read psi on and what they are running. Thanks!

Oil Presure?

My 90 has an aftermarket mechanical oil pressure gauge and it reads 44psi cold and 20-25 hot at idle ,but jumps to 40 when off idle.

Oil Presure?

That's about normal. You have to remember that the oil pressure on these is read after the filter. I am working on oil mods for my turbo motor, possibly porting and polishing the main oil passage. I will let you know what I find.
