question on the diablo chips
does this makes your truck swallow lots and lots of gas. no
seriously does it affect the consume of gasoline even if you go at a normal speed?? i know its stupid but im 20 years old and have en expy and live in the dominican republic. that means my pay is not sky high and that a galon here is about almost 3 bucks

I don't know about an increase in consumption but I do know that it will require you to burn premium gas. At about $.20US per gallon more expensive, it is the main reason I have not installed one.

You ought to post your question on the chip forum.
But, to answer it, the chip manufacturers claim that by adding a chip and running premium gasoline, you'll actually see better mileage...all other factors remaing constant.
Reality: If you purchase one and like the performance gains, you'll drive harder and actually consume more gasoline. Your call.
