I was searching for electrical diagrams for the Parking Aid on the F350. I came across a subscription site that gives a year access for $29.95. OK, but I can't see what they offer. If it is simply a Chilton's or Haynes it's not worth the money. Neither of them discuss what I need and they both use exactly the same pictures. So I guess they buy them from the same photographer and just write a little differently.
Before I jump in a throw away 30 bucks I'd like your input. Anybody using one of these sites?
I agree with you Nolan, for the most part. Except in this case I need diagrams so I can troubleshoot the problem. There are a few threads here (I even started one) about the reverse sensors, or Parking Aid, but no one is able to really answer the question because the question cannot be written properly without a little more info. There was a thread somewhere here that I saw once, where something about how many ohms of resistance across each sensor you should have for a good one. But I can't find that thread now. There are two other electrical problems that could be related. Maybe a ground. But without a diagram it is nearly impossible to troubleshoot. One of them is that when you unlocked the truck with the keyless entry the headlights and the amber cab lights, bed light, and interior lights came on. The amber lights don't now. The trailer break controller quit working. The back up sensors don't work. Are they all related?
Thanks for the reply tdpower. But no such luck. These mysterious sensors are part of the truck, but can't be found in any reference so far. I got into the ebscohost reference, but they don't have it.
