COMP Cams K35-310-8 - COMP Cams Magnum Hydraulic Roller Cam and Lifter Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com can i use this in a 88 302 engine?

sounds like a dumb question but its a roller cam and roller lifters

yes the important part is the 114lob seperation which this cam meets.

Well.. it's not the only thing that matters, with 215 deg intake duration it won't idle very well if at all, and the total duration will put the whole powerband solidly above 3000rpm.. which is why I said in the other thread you better have gears and a high stall or this motor will be a DOG in a truck.

ha ha yea i posted there after it sat here for a while without a reply but thanks for the info

the part i was looking at was the roller set up with the push rods too

ive looked at the converter part and i was thinking if i go with that sorta setup where that starts at 1,500 rpms getting a converter for around the same maybe a 2000 rpm one...
