on a couple occasions I know friends were able to purchase 4 new aftermarket wheels for near the cost of one factory wheel (if that's what it is?). Not sure how that would work for 6 wheels though

Reason: typo
Last time I bought a set of tires, the guy changing the tires forgot to use the rubber inserts on the machine and ruined my rear wheels. They ordered a new set from the ford dealer. The first time they ordered a set off the net but when they arrived, they were in bad shape.
Dealer is my first stop. IF not, try searching for wheel restoration or factory wheel sellers. I wouldn't try getting a 'fixed' wheel though. I would only trust dealer. Looks like your fender got boogered up!
They have the Alcoa line of wheels as well as others.
they also have the great center caps, lug nuts for wholesale pricing.
I got my Alcoa's from them for two Vans and two pickups, great quality
and they have the highest load/towing ratings over any other rim, so they claim.
I know this may not the right place to post this thread, but I'm looking for a place to buy a wheel like the one in this picture below.
I had a blow out yesterday and it damaged the wheel, and since I'm filing a claim with my insurance for damages, I'm looking for a new wheel.
They are polished aluminum, 16" front with 4WD. This truck is a 2002 Dually.
If someone can direct me to the right place, I would appreciate it...
Is the front wheel different for 2wd vs 4wd (yes, i know it's a dually)? Are you looking for new or good used?
Where are you (state)?
Also, take a few minutes and create a signature about your truck.
You will spend a lot less in the long run to just get a used fender, wheel, and inner fender liner. Even if you have to have the new fender painted, it will likely ultimately cost you less than what your insurance company will do to your premiums afterward.
Thanks for everyone's input and help on finding me a wheel. I'll try the Ford dealer, since ins. will be footing the bill.
Someone said the fender got booger ed up, well yes it did. Also the inner fender, and front air dam (spoiler) was damaged and the electronics for the anti-lock brakes on the left front was ripped apart also.
I was traveling on the interstate highway at 65 m.p.h. when it blew, I was in the right hand lane and ended up in the left hand lane before I was able to get it headed back so I could get to the emergency lane. I am just glad no one was beside me or close to me...It could have been a lot worse than it was.
Heres a bump since I am gonna hijack your post for a second, I have a local hubcap depot that will recondition my used pitted wheels, my question is this, is it safe or even common for me to say for example take in the rear outside wheels to be recon'd and then swap em' with the fronts when I get em' back, so I will have the use of my truck?
