Where does the oil come from?

I'm pretty sure my HPOP o-rings are leaking. I've got a lot of oil down the back of the engine and on the bottom of the truck. I've had the thing for around 2000 miles today and the level hasn't gone down on the dip stick at all. Does the HPOP tank not get replenished by the engine? Will the truck ever stop running if I don't fix the leak?

Yes, the HPOP gets it's oil from your crankcase.. Is the oil also in the "valley" of the engine ?

No standing oil, but it's definitely greasy down there.

Suggest you use some cleaning agent, like simple Green to clean the valley. Then watch for new oil leaks.. It probably your o rings on the pedestal under your turbo.. Mine are leaking a some amount also.. It runs down the back side of the engine and drip off of the torque converter.. (don't get your electrical connectors, etc wet when cleaning..)
