so my ac is inop. When I turn it on nothing, no compressor, nothing but hot air. So I tried charging it up and with the freon added it would kick on the compressor. So I think I'm in the clear but when I turn it off I hear a hissing noise from the passenger side rear tire. I look under the running board and there is air or maybe freon pissing out at a good pace. It doesn't take all but a few minutes without the freon bottle attached for the compressor to cut out. Now my question is how do I id which line is which and do I need to have those lines to the rear? can I bypass the rear section somehow or do I need to have them? Where can I get these lines if needed?

Sounds like you have a damaged rear evaporator line,or possibly(if you're lucky), a bad sealing O-Ring on one of the line couplers. The lines are available from several sources-you'll just need to isolate which one it is,and then go from there. You really need a vacuum pump to pull all of the moisture out of the system before recharging it post-repair. Moisture is highly corrosive in an A/C system, and will quickly kill the compressor and damage the condenser, etc if it's not removed before putting the system back into service.
