And let me tell you.. the power i have back now is great.. I updated my edge and re programed the truck and it's like a new truck.... Should have no trouble towing anything any more. Leaving friday morning with 9k behind the truck and i shoud do it just fine... I no longer have the nitto's on the truck i have since replaced them with the new BFG's... And my junky flow master ritted off. and i replaced that with a gibson... were set now....
Which engine do you have and are you running headers?
I have a friend that has an 04-05 F150 that is trying to get some power back, but he only has the 4.6L. He asked me about headers and pullys, but I was thinking that gears might be the better way to go. He already has a programmer, CAI, aftermarket cat-back exhaust, leveling kit and Mud Grapplers (33" or 35"). I am not real familiar on the newer trucks. Glad yours is working out for you. Those 4.56's should make it a towing machine.
My truck is a 06 FX4 with the 5.4... came stk with 3.73's Yea the truck is set up now like i want it to be. Just short of a SC..... Don't thnk wife will ok that one just yet.... And the gears i bought from American truck's there Motive Gears.... Have just shy of 500 miles on them now and the power i got back is WOW!!!! Truck is loaded as i type this 30 ft toy hauler 2 big 4x4 quads in it bed loaded with wood.. holding tank filled with 40 gal's fresh water... this will be a test for sure. Will post when i return.
