any big changes in firewall?
As i posted before I want to swap an 81 body onto my 88 frame. But I got to thinking about the hydraulic clutch master cyclinder mounting. Since ford didn't use these on the gassers till later (83 for the diesels) Iwant to know if the fire walls were the same on the 80-86 trucks. I just want ot plan ahead for the mounting.

I don't think there were any major changes, as ford didn't put any extra support for the hy clutch in the early ones. I would build a support plate to start with so your firewall doesn't crack though.
