I sand blasted mine, myself. After finding out how little it costs compared to your time, health, equipment, media, and OH DID I MENTION SANDBLASTING IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH? I'd pay a couple hundred buck to have it done in a couple hours by a professional.

LOL I did the same thing, bought a 100lb sandblaster and after 8 LONG hours I had one frame rail done and one hell of a mess! It took the proffesional 3 hours to do the frame, small parts, and underside of the bed and cab. Best $300 I spent on my build. But I tell ya what, I bought an $80 cabinet blaster from Fleet Farm for all the small parts and brackets, and that thing works GREAT! Nothing gets parts cleaner than sandblasting!

I guess while were on the subject of sand blasting and what not... would it be worth while to do my axles and coat them to??? or is there concerns of sand getting in the moving parts???

blast em!!! just do you best to plug any holes where sand may get in! I didnt have mine blasted on the Supercab Project, but when I get to the Reg cab/shortbed truck I will be bringing the whole rolling chassis to the blaster!

OZZY beat me to the question about moving parts. The whole rolling chasis, huh? Seriously? That would make it quite a bit easier! Has anyone else done this, or do most remove everything from the frame first?
