Steinbrenner, Dead at 80

I'm not a Yankee fan by any stretch of the imagination, but this man was certainly an iconic figure in the game I love so much.

Bought the Yanks for 10Meg in 1973. Probably the most valuable team in all of pro sports now. He did something right.

Never did like the Yankees, and thought the man was nothing more than a rich egomaniacal tyrant. Still, his contribution to the game is undeniable. He's probably trying to fire St. Peter or something right now...
